We Have Arrived! Touchdown In Sunny Athens!

The wait is officially over as Global Summers Academy Greece Departure 2 has officially landed, and our Mediterranean adventure is underway.

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our journey. Our flight was absolutely excellent, complete with clear skies, smooth cruising, and a great vibe on board. To make things even better, we actually touched down in Greece ahead of schedule!

Stepping out of the Athens airport, we were instantly greeted by that beautiful, bright Greek sunshine. While the Mediterranean heat can sometimes be a shock to the system, our group had a secret weapon: the recent heat spell back home in Canada! We were already perfectly acclimated and ready to roll the minute we walked through the sliding airport doors.

The energy in the group is electric right now. From the baggage claim to our first views of the city, the students are buzzing with excitement, cameras at the ready, and eager to dive headfirst into everything Athens has to offer.

Whether it’s the ancient history, the incredible food, or the vibrant culture, this crew is ready to explore it all.
We are settling in, fueling up, and getting ready for an unforgettable month of learning, discovery, and lifelong memories.
