Day 8 - Greece Bound!

Today marked the beginning of the next chapter of our adventure as we said goodbye to Rome and made our way to Greece!

After an early flight from Rome, we arrived in Athens, where the entire group enjoyed lunch together before splitting into our two sailing groups for the week ahead.

Group B wasted no time beginning their sailing adventure. After meeting their skippers and getting settled on their boats, they set sail into the beautiful Saronic Gulf. Along the way, students enjoyed refreshing swim stops in the crystal-clear blue waters before arriving in Aegina, an island famous for its delicious pistachios. The group wrapped up the day with dinner overlooking an unforgettable sunset. Today was a picture-perfect start to life on the water.

Meanwhile, Group A travelled by bus to the charming island of Poros. The journey itself was filled with spectacular coastal scenery, giving students their first glimpse of Greece’s breathtaking landscapes. Upon arriving at the hotel, everyone was amazed by the incredible views overlooking the water.

That evening, everyone gathered for dinner, where we celebrated a birthday in the group! Afterward, students enjoyed some free time exploring the beautiful town of Poros before heading back to the hotel for a well-earned night’s rest.
