We made it! Students arrived in Lisbon, Portugal around 11:10am. After a quick stop at the hotel to drop off their luggage, we headed over to a nearby park for some icebreakers. Students enjoyed a buffet dinner at the hotel before calling it an early night (#jetlagprobs).

 

On day two, students were up early and ready for our walking tour of Lisbon. We explored the neighbourhood of Chiado where we visited the oldest book store in the world, the Basilica of Our Lady of Martyrs, famous bakeries, and many beautiful look out points.

 

Students had their first day of classes and then enjoyed some free time in the Praca dos Restauradores. We call that a successful first few days!
