Athens and the Ferry
Our Biology class was off to the Attica Zoological Park to see the animals! Despite the warm temperatures, they were able to see the animals up close, and are following up with notes and investigations about specific species’ animal adaptations.
Our English classes were learning about various literary lenses, while Classical Civilization discussed museum objects.
Late in the day, we rode our private coach bus to Athens’ port, where we got on our ferry, called the Festus Palace. The students checked into their cabins and then got back together for dinner on the boat. We set sail, and they had a few hours to relax and explore the ship before bedtime in their cabins. They woke up as the ship was docking in Crete. The group ate breakfast on the boat and then boarded our next coach bus for a morning drive to Rethymno.
We’ll settle in here and update you again tomorrow!
