Island Discovery Day!
Our first optional excursion was a huge success!
We left the hotel in the morning and headed to the dock, where we were welcomed by a very friendly crew before boarding our boat for the day. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (and lots of windows for the views!), everyone settled in for a beautiful cruise through the Maddalena Archipelago.
Our first stop was the charming town of La Maddalena, where students wandered the streets in search of souvenirs—and, of course, enjoyed a quick gelato break! 🍦
Next, we sailed to Isola Spargi for our first swim stop. Crystal-clear turquoise water, two beautiful beaches to choose from, and plenty of time to swim and relax made it an unforgettable experience. 🌊
Back on board, lunch was served, and the homemade penne with basil pomodoro was such a hit that many students went back for seconds (and even thirds!). 🍝
Our final stop was Isola Santa Maria, where students spent the afternoon snorkelling, tanning, swimming, and soaking up the stunning white sand and clear blue water.
This evening, the remaining students will wrap up the final presentations they began yesterday before we check out of the hotel tomorrow for one last beach day before our overnight ferry to Sorrento!
