Full Day of Classes in Coco

Not every day in Costa Rica is packed with excursions, and that’s part of the experience, too. Today was all about academics as students spent the day in English and Biology classes, continuing to build on everything they’ve learned throughout the program. With culminating tasks just around the corner, many students took the opportunity to ask questions, collaborate with classmates, and make great progress on their final assignments. 

After a full day of classes, everyone enjoyed some well-deserved downtime. As the sun began to set, students gathered at the beach to take in another breathtaking Playa del Coco sunset, a daily reminder of just how lucky we are to call this place our classroom. The evening was relaxed and filled with laughter. After dinner, some students challenged each other to board games, while others found a quiet spot to keep chipping away at their culminating projects before calling it a night. As our time in Costa Rica begins to wind down, it’s been wonderful to see students balancing hard work with meaningful moments together, making the most of every day.
