Wake-up calls started bright and early at 5:00 a.m. as we packed up, enjoyed breakfast, and caught our first bus of the day. It was time to say goodbye to the mainland and hello to island life!

We spent some time at the ferry terminal (where the pastries and sandwiches were a big hit!) before boarding for our journey across the Mediterranean. Students kept themselves entertained with cards, books, games, naps, and plenty of time on the rooftop deck taking in the incredible ocean views.

Lunch on board was an impressive buffet featuring fresh bread, a choice of primi, a choice of secondi, a side, dessert, fruit, and a drink. Safe to say no one went hungry! 🍽️

By the afternoon, we arrived on the beautiful island of Sardinia and hopped on our second bus of the day. The scenery couldn’t have been more different—rugged mountains, rocky coastlines, and crystal-clear ocean stretching as far as the eye could see.

As soon as we arrived, a few students wasted no time racing down to the beach for a quick swim and to scout out the area. They discovered lounge chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, and plenty of other beach activities ready for some free-time adventures! 🌊☀️

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store on this stunning island!
