Day 2: Sunrise, Studies and The Acropolis

We started the morning with breakfast on the hotel’s rooftop where students enjoyed incredible views of the city before heading off to their first classes. Our academic program officially got underway with English students beginning their study of King Lear, Grade 11 Biology exploring the fundamentals of plant botany, and Grade 12 Biology diving into biochemistry.

In the afternoon we experienced a guided walking tour of the Acropolis. Standing beneath the Parthenon and learning about one of the world’s most iconic historical landmarks. There were plenty of opportunities for photos, exploring and taking in breathtaking views of Athens.

After an exciting day of learning both inside and outside the classroom, we wrapped up the evening with a delicious Greek dinner together. It was the perfect way to end a busy first full day as our students continue making new friendships, creating unforgettable memories, and embracing everything Greece has to offer.
