First Day of Classes and Walking Tour

After a long day of travel, all the students enjoyed a much-needed rest before their first day of classes. In the morning, they had a delightful breakfast on the rooftop, which offered an amazing view. Some classes took advantage of the beautiful weather and were held outside. Meanwhile, others toured the museum, and some students chose to stay in and enjoy the air conditioning.

Afterward, the students had time for a delicious lunch before embarking on a guided walking tour of the Acropolis, Parthenon, and Temple of Athena Nike. The students captured many great photos and enjoyed two presentations from Dr. Flaherty on classical civilization. Following this, the students enjoyed a great meal. Some students stayed in to catch up on work, while others went out to enjoy gelato and explore more of Athens.
