Day 8: Island Hopping Excursion

Island Hopping Optional Excursion
Today our entire group opted to take parti in the full day optional excursion that takes us to 3 different island. After a short bus drive, we boarded our boat and set sail towards our first stop. The picturesque island of La Maddalena. We had an hour to walk around and explore the charming streets and by souvenirs from the local markets.
Next we stopped at Spargi Island for our first swim stop. Students loved jumping off the rocks and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. After a delicious pasta lunch, we stopped at our last stop, the Island of Santa Maria where we enjoyed another round of swimming.
Back at the hotel for dinner, we also celebrated Erin’s 17th birthday. After dinner, students headed back to the town for one last evening. We were treated to another live music concert and some fun in the arcade park.
Tomorrow, we hop on a ferry to our next destination, Rome.
