Hang 10! 
We had the most amazing day on our first optional excursion – surfing lessons in Tamarindo! The day kicked off bright and early as we loaded the bus and made our way to one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful surf towns. After meeting our incredible instructors and going over the basics, we hit the waves! The morning was full of rad rides and some pretty epic wipeouts – what a rip!

Meanwhile, back in Coco, the rest of the group spent the day exploring the markets, wandering town, and giving back to the planet. A massive shoutout to everyone who took part in the volunteer beach cleanup – your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. The staff (and the Earth!) thank you!

We wrapped up our amazing Sunday with another stunning sunset and a stroll down the strip. A day to remember from start to finish.
