Today was a perfect blend of culture and learning! We visited a local coffee plantation where we explored the step-by-step process of how coffee is grown, harvested, and roasted. We even got to learn about the different types of coffee and what makes Costa Rican beans so special! After a delicious lunch, we joined in the celebration of a local holiday, complete with traditional music and dance performances, it was an unforgettable way to connect with the local culture. We wrapped up the afternoon with some class time, another full and unforgettable day in Monteverde!
