While today there were no classes, these studious kids “locked in” (as they say) to work on final assignments!

Some students came with staff to revisit the little waterfall in Coco and admire some awesome waves! Tagging along were our visiting GSA staff, Dina and Carolyn. Bienvenidos!

In the afternoon, two teams competed in “GSA’s Cooked!” Students had to use the secret ingredient in their dish: pineapple. The dishes were phenomenal and it was a tough call, but by a slight margin the win went to Ashley, Sienna, and Alicia for their tacos! Owen and Olivia wowed with their presentation of pineapple chicken and coconut rice, served in a pineapple! And to top it off they served it with a brown sugar piña colada on the side.
