The optional excursion to Rio Celeste and Bijagua Ranas wildlife sanctuary took place today. The students who signed up chased the most beautiful waterfall! After the hike down to see the out of this world blue water, we had a traditional Costa Rican lunch and stopped for some ice cream. Then we made our way to the wildlife sanctuary. Students had the amazing experience to see toucans, spider monkeys, white faced monkeys, frogs, and an eight month old sloth up close. And to end off the day we roasted, ground, and mixed our own chocolate! Another Sunday funday!
