Day 17 - Mallorca ➡️ ferry ➡️ Barcelona

Today was all about travelling as we made our way from Mallorca to Barcelona on a seven-hour ferry ride. Although it was a long journey, everyone found their own way to stay entertained. Some students took the opportunity to catch up on classwork, while others spent the time playing Uno and cards, drawing, reading, or simply relaxing and enjoying the views from the ferry.

One of the highlights of the trip was an unexpected magic show on board. The magician had everyone laughing, especially when two of our students were chosen to volunteer during parts of the performance. Their participation made the show even more entertaining and gave us all something to talk about for the rest of the journey.

We arrived in Barcelona around 9:00 p.m., headed out for dinner, and surprised our birthday girl with a cake to celebrate the special occasion. Even after a long day of travelling, everyone was still full of energy. The bus ride back to the hotel quickly turned into a karaoke session, with students singing along and making the most of our first night in Barcelona.

With an early 7:00 a.m. bus departure to our next residence, it was straight to bed once we arrived back at the hotel. After a busy day of travelling, we were all excited to get some rest and wake up ready to explore everything Barcelona has to offer.
