A Message from Sam Blyth

Dear Parents and Friends,

I was delighted to welcome your children to my home on Friday in Notting Hill, London and cook them a traditional Canadian BBQ in my back yard. It was a beautiful evening and they did a walk down Portobello Road on their way to me.

The program is very well led by Caitlin Belanger and an experienced teaching staff. They are off to a great start, enjoy each other’s company and love London. After a couple of hot days here the weather has reverted to norm- sun, cloud, rain and then some sun again.

After dinner I spoke to the students about travel and the visual arts and how to get the most out of their experience in Europe. They were both outgoing and appreciative and even helped clean up afterwards!

Thank you for entrusting your children to us this summer. It is my 48th year organizing these programs and it is only the second time I’ve had the pleasure of having a group in my home.

With best wishes,

Sam Blyth
