Day 3: Coastlines, Creatures, and Celebrations

Another beautiful day in Coco!
The day began bright and early for a group of students joining Ms. Lee for a beach run – getting to see the coastline in the early morning hours. The rest of the crew got up for our classic 7:30 AM breakfast, where students dispersed shortly after into their classes. Before diving into their lessons, we captured some fantastic group photos – with surprise visits from some animal guest!

Biology students spent another day engaging in hands on labs, extracting banana DNA and learning beachside, where they were joined by a feathery study buddy!

Once classes wrapped up, students gathered at the beach for some volleyball, where we were accompanied by the tiniest crabs coming out to play. The students finished off their beach time with a refreshing dip to watch the sunset.

After dinner, the group hit the town to celebrate the 4th of July! There was music, fireworks, and lots of dancing (even the teachers joined the fun!).
Another incredible day filled with new animals, new adventures, and new memories we’ll never forget!
