A Day of Museums, History and Celebration

EJ’s birthday kicked off with the boys pitching in to decorate before room checks. After a good breakfast at the hotel, everyone headed to their morning classes. The biology and classical civilization classes hopped on an early bus to visit museums; the biology class explored the Natural History Museum of Crete, while the classical civilization class toured the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Later, the English classes joined in, and the whole group made their way to Knossos Palace for a guided walking tour. To top off the day, they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to EJ and enjoyed a delicious dinner back at the hotel.
