Welcome Letter

Dear Global Summers Academy Families,

Καλησπέρα (Good evening) from Greece!

We are happy to share that our group has arrived safely after a smooth day of travel. While everyone is understandably a little tired from the journey, spirits are high, and there is plenty of excitement as we begin this incredible adventure together.

After settling into our accommodations, students had an opportunity to get acquainted with their surroundings, enjoy their first meal in Greece, and begin experiencing the warmth and hospitality that make this country so special. It didn’t take long for conversations to turn into laughter as new memories and friendships began to form.

Over the coming days, students will immerse themselves in Greek history, culture, language, and daily life through hands-on experiences that simply can’t be replicated in a classroom. Tomorrow we will be exploring ancient landmarks like the Acropolis and tasting authentic cuisine to interacting with local communities, all while providing new opportunities to learn, grow, and discover.

We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting this update, and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us. Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us. We look forward to keeping you connected throughout our journey by sharing regular blog updates, stories, and photos of our adventures.
