Olá!

We have landed in Lisbon and it has been go go go!

Our flight went smoothly and with a few airport line-ups in Lisbon, we arrived to our hotel a couple of hours before check-in. We dropped off our bags and explored the area for a bite to eat, and maybe a “sorvete” for a few of us, while we waited. 😊

Check-in went smoothly, with just enough time for us to quickly get ready for our Lisbon walking tour.

A little tired from our travel, the group took on Lisbon! The heat was no match for us or our amazing tour guides, José and João! They took us through Lisbon and enlightened us with so much rich history. We ended our tour walking the famous “pink street” (officially Rua Nova do Carvalho)… think umbrellas!

Next, our first dinner together as a group, at Sabor Mineiro, a lively Brazilian restaurant, where we were greeted by warm staff and a delicious buffet! Finally, straight to the hotel after dinner, as we were all ready for sleep… tired from the day’s events but excited to take on day 2!
