Travel Day Back To Athens

Monday marked our final morning in Syros as we prepared for the last leg of our journey back to Athens. We gathered for breakfast to fuel up for the day before students returned to their rooms to finish packing and get ready for another travel day. Before leaving the island, students attended a few final hours of class, where they reviewed material for their upcoming exams and had the opportunity to ask their teachers any last minute questions.

Many students used their remaining time in Syros to begin working through their exam reviews, while others grabbed a quick snack before we made our way to the port to board our ferry back to Athens.

The four hour ferry ride went by smoothly  and once again our students were incredibly prepared and organized. Many had downloaded their coursework ahead of time so they could continue working on assignments, complete exam reviews and stay on top of their studies even while travelling. Others took the opportunity to catch up on some well earned sleep after another busy few weeks of exploring Greece. By the afternoon, we had arrived safely back in Athens and checked into the Jason Inn Hotel. We ended the day by enjoying another delicious dinner together before returning to the hotel for room checks and a good night’s rest.
