Swimming in Sardinia
Our first full day in Sardinia felt like a postcard come to life!
Some students took the opportunity to sleep in and catch up on some well-earned rest after yesterday’s early start, while others were up bright and early, making the most of the pool before class.
Lessons came with a pretty spectacular view as students worked hard on their compare-and-contrast essays out on the patio.
At lunchtime, everyone headed next door to the local market to create their own beach picnic. The menu included fresh fruit, focaccia, made-to-order deli sandwiches, salads… and even sushi for a few adventurous eaters! 🥪🍉
The afternoon was spent swimming in the crystal-clear water before returning for class, proving that school with an ocean backdrop isn’t too bad!
Dinner was another buffet feast featuring lasagna bolognese, salmon pasta, fresh bread, and a well-stocked salad bar. 🍝
To finish off the day, many students made their way back to the beach to watch a stunning Sardinian sunset before heading to bed, ready to do it all again tomorrow. 🌅
