“Roman” Around the Colosseum & Forum
Students started the day with an impressive breakfast buffet featuring eggs, sausage, yogurt, mini pancakes, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries, and fresh-squeezed juice to help them fuel up for another busy day! 🥞🍊
The morning was spent working on final group projects before we headed out for our last whole-group field trip: the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Led by our knowledgeable guides, students explored the iconic ancient ruins while learning about the history of one of the world’s greatest civilizations. It was another hot day, but one packed with incredible stories and unforgettable sights.
Dinner introduced everyone to another Roman classic: pasta all’amatriciana, a local favourite. 🍝
With a later Friday curfew, many students took the opportunity to explore the lively neighbourhood of Trastevere, while others opted for a quieter evening back at the hotel to rest and catch up on some school work after a long day in the sun.
As we head into the weekend, we have a few optional activities planned for the students’ final free days in Italy. It’s hard to believe our adventure is almost coming to an end❣️
