Picnic with a view
Today was one of those simple, joy-filled days that remind us why we love teaching. Our class of curious, energetic young students set off for a picnic at Le Champ de Mars, right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It wasn’t just a day out—it was a project they had prepared and planned themselves.
From choosing the snacks to organizing games and even drawing up a schedule, the students took the lead with impressive enthusiasm. Armed with homemade pizza, fruit, and colorful blankets, we found the perfect sunny spot with a stunning view of the tower.
As we packed up under the warm evening sun, the students reflected on teamwork, planning, and the joy of being together outdoors. It was more than a picnic—it was a celebration of learning, friendship, and the simple pleasure of a summer day in Paris
