July 18 - Final Saturday

Our final Saturday of the program started with an earlier morning than usual on the weekend because students had class as most were on the sailing excursion during the week. Bio had their last test of the program and then went on to do a mark-recapture lab using marked beans. English planned and wrote their comparative essays to examine a Greek myth of their choice and The Pearl, their novel study book. Classical Civ continued with their seminars and then headed into Ermoupoli for the afternoon to visit the Archaeological Museum.

When classes were dismissed, many students chose to continue working but many of them went pool side to enjoy swim breaks and the amazing view of the beach and mountains. They went into the village for some classic gyro’s, and went back to resort to finish more work and enjoy more sun time. After dinner some students went to the beach for sunset and volleyball, and some did a round of general trivia before heading out for a fun Saturday night.
