Getting Lost in Parikia – With Zori as Our Guide
Today was all about local charm, learning, and a little luxury—a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation on the island of Paros.
Guided Tour with Zori
Our day began with a guided walk through the winding maze of Parikia, led by none other than our main guy, Zori. With his sdeep love for the island, he pointed out all the hidden gems and historical highlights—from the Church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani to tucked-away alleyways bursting with flowers and stories. Students were captivated by the mix of ancient ruins, Venetian architecture, and the laid-back island vibe.
After the tour, it was time to cool off and switch gears. We gathered for a class by the pool, where the breeze, the sun, and the sound of cicadas made for a pretty dreamy classroom setting. A little learning, a little lounging—just the way we like it.
As the sun dipped low, we strolled back to the harbour for another unforgettable dinner. Tables were set right by the water, and the golden light made everything feel magical.
The Menu? A Hit!
- Village salad – fresh, crunchy, and so good there wasn’t a single bite left.
- Pasticcio – layers of pasta, meat, and creamy béchamel that had everyone going back for seconds.
- Yogurt with honey – simple, sweet, and the perfect finish to a perfect day.
From ancient streets to seaside eats, Paros continues to charm us at every turn.
