From Island Vibes to City Walls: Hello Dubrovnik!
This morning, we said a bittersweet goodbye to beautiful Hvar and boarded our transfer to Dubrovnik — and while it was hard to leave, we instantly knew this city would be something special.
After checking into our hotel, we headed straight through the iconic Pile Gate, where the students were immediately struck by the beauty and history of the city within the walls. The stone streets, towering fortresses, and terracotta rooftops felt like stepping into a storybook.
For a few of our Game of Thrones fans, it was a surreal moment — recognizing King’s Landing in real life sparked excitement and plenty of photo ops.
The group naturally split into two paths: some became city explorers, wandering through narrow alleys and historic squares, while others couldn’t resist racing back to the beach we passed on our walk, eager for one last dip in the Adriatic.
We ended the day with a buffet dinner, full plates and full hearts, and headed to bed with smiles all around. Dubrovnik is already proving to be a highlight — and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
