Day of Discovery: Student Presentations Across Rome
Today was a journey through time and innovation as students brought history to life with presentations at some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks. From the sleek modernity of the Alfa Romeo Dealership to the ancient grandeur of the Colosseum, each stop offered a unique lens into the city’s layered narrative.
We tossed coins into the Trevi Fountain, marveled at the Pantheon’s perfect dome, and stood in the shadow of Teatro di Marcello and the Theatre of Pompey, where echoes of Roman drama still linger. At Trajan’s Market and the Roman Forum, students explored the pulse of ancient commerce and politics, while Nero’s Golden House revealed the opulence of imperial ambition.
The Arch of Constantine and Circus Maximus framed discussions on spectacle and power, culminating in a powerful reflection at the Colosseum—Rome’s enduring symbol of empire and endurance.
This immersive day of experiential learning transformed the Eternal City into a living classroom, where history wasn’t just studied—it was felt, seen, and shared.
