Day 6: A Smooth Journey into France – Bienvenue à Biarritz!
Our sixth day on the Grand Tour began with a well-organized morning routine: students brought their luggage down early to the first floor to avoid elevator congestion and ensure a smooth departure process. Afterwards, they returned upstairs for a light breakfast and then jumped into a productive morning class session. The academic energy was high as students reviewed new material, engaged in peer collaboration, met one-on-one with teachers, and made steady progress on assignments. Spirits were upbeat—everyone felt confident, organized, and ready for the next adventure.
We loaded the bus in record time and hit the road for a comfortable three-hour, non-stop journey across the Spanish-French border, heading toward our next destination: the elegant seaside town of Biarritz, France.
Crossing into our second country of the Grand Tour added a renewed sense of excitement and wonder. As the coastline came into view, students were delighted by the sparkling Atlantic waters, sandy beaches, and the refined charm of this resort town once beloved by royalty.
Upon arrival, we split into two groups, each heading with their respective teachers to nearby hotels to check in and settle comfortably. Once bags were dropped and rooms assigned, students were given some free time to explore the city and grab dinner at a restaurant of their choice—embracing the independence and culture that travel uniquely offers.
It was a seamless travel day, filled with laughter, anticipation, and a growing sense of discovery. With everyone safely settled in and impressed by Biarritz’s beauty and elegance, we now look forward to all the incredible experiences that await us in this vibrant French coastal town.
Another day of smooth transitions, great attitudes, and incredible memories on our Grand Tour of Europe!
