Our first full day in Playas del Coco! Students started off the day zip-lining through the tree tops and then saw several animals, including monkeys, crocodiles, parrots, turtles, and snakes (oh my!) 

We then returned to Coco where students were able to explore the downtown and eat lunch. Then the first official classes started in Coco! In Kelly’s class students analyzed examples of scientific writing in order to help them improve their writing skills for their photo journal assignment. In Jeremey’s class students evaluated exemplars of artists statements for their vlogs.
Then we watched the sunset together! At dinner we celebrated our first birthday. Happy 17th birthday to Manessa!
