Day 4: Headed to Syros
Monday, July 28th
We had a very early 5:30 a.m. start this morning. The hotel was kind enough to open the rooftop restaurant for us to have breakfast before we headed to port to catch our ferry to Syros.
Our teachers decided to hold class on our 4-hour ferry ride. Students enjoyed sitting on the open-air patio, admiring all the islands as we passed them.
We were greeted warmly by the staff at Dolphin Bay Resort and we were even more appreciative that our rooms were ready early.
Students rushed to change and then headed straight to the beach for their first swim. We even started a beach volleyball tournament to help get us in shape for our special volleyball event this weekend.
We enjoyed the buffet dinner at the hotel, admiring the sun setting right before our eyes. The entire group headed to the beach to capture incredible group photos during the magnificent golden hour.
We have a strong feeling that we will enjoy our week on Syros very much.
