Day 4: Beautiful Beginnings In Crete

Our day began bright and early as we arrived in Crete welcomed by a beautiful sunrise from the ferry. Students enjoyed breakfast onboard while taking in the stunning views before we left and boarded our bus to the hotel.

After dropping off our luggage we jumped right into exploring with a walking tour of the area. Students quickly became familiar with their new surroundings, discovering local restaurants, nearby shops and of course finding the beach for future adventures.

The afternoon gave students some free time. Many headed out to enjoy lunch together and continue exploring the charming streets of Crete while others took the opportunity to finish up some schoolwork. With the warm weather and sunshine, some students also took advantage of the hotel pool, enjoying a relaxing swim and some downtime after a busy travel day.

Before long, students were able to get settled into their rooms and get ready for the evening. We wrapped up the day with a wonderful group dinner. Overall, it was a smooth and successful travel day filled with sunshine, exploration, poolside relaxation, and plenty of new memories as our time in Crete officially begins!
