Day 2

After a morning of classes, students spent the afternoon exploring Lisbon. Some embraced the adventure of coasteering, making their way along the rugged coastline, cliff jumping, and swimming in the Atlantic while taking in spectacular ocean views.

Others explored the vibrant streets of downtown Lisbon, enjoying some free time to shop before stopping at the famous Time Out Market, where they sampled a variety of Portuguese specialties. I tried the grilled octopus, and it was absolutely delicious! A small group also made the climb to Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, one of Lisbon’s most beautiful viewpoints, where they enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

It was the perfect afternoon of adventure, culture, delicious food, and unforgettable memories. Day 3 consists of lots of class time and a tour of the Castelo de São Jorge.
