Sunday, July 28th

Buongiorno dall’Italia!

After an uneventful 8-hour flight from Toronto to Rome, 22 students and 4 staff gathered, luggage in hand (thank you Air Canada!), and headed to our first destination, the Sorrento coast. After a 3 hour bus ride down the western coast of Italy, we were introduced to the amazing Sorrento coast. The views are breathtaking. Students were quick to snap their first pictures. Quickly, we realized just how hot Italy gets in late July. The best way to beat the heat is to jump in the refreshing Tyrrhenian Sea. After the quick dip, we were off to our first dinner together as a group. We are all looking forward to a good night’s rest and exploring this amazing region tomorrow.
