Our final day in Madrid was absolutely packed and unforgettable from start to finish! We began the day with a visit to the renowned Reina Sofía Museum, where students explored some of Spain’s most iconic modern art. The highlight? A group photo challenge in front of Picasso’s powerful masterpiece, Guernica.

Next, we made our way to the Prado Museum, home to an incredible collection of classical works. Students wandered through centuries of art history, soaking in the masterpieces of Goya, Velázquez, and more.

After a morning of museum-hopping, some students chose to join McKay for an exciting visit to the legendary Santiago Bernabéu Stadium…home of the Real Madrid Team. Touring the stadium was a dream come true for some of our biggest soccer fans. It was awesome!

In the evening, we wrapped up our Madrid adventure with a pizza picnic in a beautiful park overlooking the city. We shared food, played games, took photos, and laughed together as the sun set on our final night here. It was the perfect way to reflect on everything we’ve experienced in this incredible city.

After dinner, students had a bit of free time for one last stroll through Madrid. Tomorrow, we trade the cityscape for the seaside as we head to Majorca. The beach is calling!
