July 10th, 2025

Today was packed with learning, laughter, and a whole lot of adventure! We kicked things off with the History class, who held their lesson in a local café, diving into their lessons while enjoying the morning buzz of Madrid. Meanwhile, the English classes took their learning to new heights, presenting their group seminars right in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid. It was a stunning backdrop for some equally impressive work!

After the presentations, the English students took on an Amazing Race challenge around the city. From famous landmarks to hidden gems, they raced in teams to complete tasks, solve clues, and explore as much of Madrid as possible. It was the perfect way to combine sightseeing with teamwork and a little healthy competition.

Later in the afternoon, students regrouped for independent study time at a nearby café, getting a chance to recharge and focus on their coursework.

We wrapped up the day with a lovely group dinner, sharing highlights from the day and soaking in these final days together in Madrid. It was one of those days that truly captured the spirit of Global Summers—learning, exploring, and making memories.
