Hello from Athens! After a smooth flight, we touched down in the ancient city of Athens! From the airport, we were met by our wonderful guide and our drivers who drove us to our hotel.

We checked in, and the students had a short time to settle into their rooms and freshen up. Then, we took a slow walk around the hotel’s neighbourhood, and to our restaurant for the evening. Our group dined outdoors, under grape vines, with live music in the air. Students had their first chance to sign out and explore the area before curfew, in groups of 4 of more.

Tomorrow will be our first full day in this fantastic city! We’ll enjoy breakfast with a view of the Parthenon, and then classes will begin. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the iconic Acropolis!
