Reflections from France: GSA 2025 Wrap-Up
Dear GSA France 2025 Parents and Guardians,
It’s hard to believe that three and a half weeks have already flown by. What felt like the start of an exciting journey just yesterday has now become a collection of unforgettable memories, shared stories, and new friendships that your children will carry with them for years to come.
By now, you’re probably starting to hear the first wave of their travel tales—whether it’s about exploring historic towns, bonding with classmates over crêpes, or navigating the Metro like locals. These moments are just a glimpse into the full experience they’ve had, one filled with learning, independence, and discovery.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication of our small but mighty staff team. Mme White and M. La Gamba brought energy, creativity, and care to every day of the program. From planning enriching excursions to fostering supportive classroom communities, they went above and beyond to ensure that each student was engaged, learning, and growing. I’m deeply grateful to them for their leadership and heart.
And of course, thank you—for entrusting us with your child’s summer. Providing this kind of experience takes courage, trust, and a sense of adventure on your part, too.
It’s been a true privilege to serve as the Program Manager for GSA France this year. I leave this program full of gratitude and admiration for the students, staff, and families who made it so special.
Wishing you and your child a wonderful August and a smooth start to the new school year this fall.
Warm regards,
Patti
Program Manager, GSA France 2025
