Primo giorno a Roma

Ciao da bellissima Roma!

Students and staff landed safely in Rome yesterday and were quickly whisked away for a walking tour of the city.

Our guides gave us an overview of the city, from the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica to the lucky Trevi Fountain. We had a quick stop for gelato (when in Rome…!) and soon made our way to the Pantheon.

We saw the beautiful Piazza Navona—a site used for the olympics in ancient times, and for fashion week now—and then the Spanish steps before taking the metro back to the hotel for the evening.

After a good night’s sleep, we’re awake and ready for classes and a tour of the Roman forum today!
