We are off to the races!

The Palio Horse Race was a success. In the morning the students started off with class time, they were very engaged in conversation with their teachers and their work.

After lunch we made our way to the Piazza del Campo for the race, the streets and students were lively, everyone was showing support for chosen contrada’s in hopes that their horse would win!

The students really enjoyed seeing the atmosphere and spirit the locals showed for this event.

After the race, the winning contrada celebrated, and the students were off to dinner and countless rounds of gelato!
