Hello from Athens! Greece Program 1 has arrived. Our overnight flight went well, and we have arrived. At the airport, we were met by our wonderful guide and our drivers, who drove us to our hotel in the Glyfada district, by the water.
We checked in, and the students had a short time to settle into their rooms and freshen up. Then, we took a slow walk around the hotel’s neighbourhood, and to our restaurant for the evening. Our group dined outdoors, in a lovely taverna with huge portions of fresh food.  It was a stellar beginning to our meals in Greece.  Students had their first chance to sign out and explore the immediate neighbourhood before curfew, in groups of 4 of more.
Tomorrow will be our first full day of classes, and we have exciting outings planned! We’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then classes will begin. We will keep you posted as our adventure continues.
