Join in on an afternoon of surfing. Take to the waves and learn to surf in the legendary sea-side town, Biarritz! This is a hot spot for people all around the world coming to catch a wave. There are numerous coastal areas that have the appropriate waves during the summer to practice surfing in Biarritz. You’ll enjoy a lesson on land with a qualified instructor before getting wet and attempting to hang ten in the surf. This exhilarating experience may leave you exhausted, but you’ll never forget the moment you caught your first wave!

What to bring: Bathing suit, change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, water.
Included: Surfboard, wetsuit, access to changing rooms, lockers, and hot showers.
Duration: One hour per group (two groups)

    ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF OLYMPIA (THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES), GREECE

    Olympia is on the western coast of the Peloponnese in southern Greece. The ancient city was like many others, with one exciting exception - THE OLYMPICS! Ancient Olympia had two parts, the city and the Olympics fields situated on the mountains above. The Olympic flame for today's Olympic Games travels every four years from the city. It is lit by reflection of sunlight in a parabolic mirror at the restored Olympia stadium, and then transported by torch to the place where the games will be held. A must-visit place which will have you travelling back in time! We will depart from Kalamata and enjoy a guided tour of the site. On our way, we will stop to have lunch at a traditional local restaurant, to enjoy the authentic Greek philoxenia (friendship). We will spend the day exploring the ancient ruins and learning what life was like during the Greek Empire.

While travelling down the Tempisque River, you may see howler and white-faced monkeys, anteaters, crocodiles, giant green iguanas as well as many Costa Rican birds. The Park is internationally renowned by bird watchers as many migratory birds choose Costa Rica as their rest stop. We will depart Playas del Coco in the morning. A snack will be provided, and we will return by lunch.
