COSTA RICAN ANIMAL SAFARI

Love wildlife? This excursion will take you down the Tempisque River that borders the Palo Verde National Park. The park has wetlands and is very diverse with 12 different habitats including mangroves, swamps, saltwater and freshwater lagoons and marshes and is home to the “Palo Verde” (horse bean) trees. This excursion really showcases all that Costa Rica has to offer!

While travelling down the Tempisque River, you may see howler and white-faced monkeys, anteaters, crocodiles, giant green iguanas as well as many Costa Rican birds. The Park is internationally renowned by bird watchers as many migratory birds choose Costa Rica as their rest stop.

We will depart Playas del Coco in the morning. A snack will be provided, and we will return by lunch.

What to bring: Water, hat, and sunscreen.

    SURFING, BIARRITZ, FRANCE

    Join in on an afternoon of surfing. Take to the waves and learn to surf in the legendary sea-side town, Biarritz! This is a hot spot for people all around the world coming to catch a wave. There are numerous coastal areas that have the appropriate waves during the summer to practice surfing in Biarritz. You’ll enjoy a lesson on land with a qualified instructor before getting wet and attempting to hang ten in the surf. This exhilarating experience may leave you exhausted, but you’ll never forget the moment you caught your first wave!
    What to bring: Bathing suit, change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, water.

    Enjoy a coast-to-coast trip along the seaside villages east of Kalamata. From the beachfront of the Messinian capital to the seaside villages of the region of West Mani, we discover numerous small beaches, spectacular rock formations and turquoise waters. At a distance we get a sight of the foothills of mount Taygetos and on our side constantly lies mount Kalathio, a mountain that literally touches the sea. We will journey along the coastline at a relaxed pace, landing on beaches and just having a good time exploring.
