The activity then takes place in a charming 18th-century olive mill, where students participate in a hands-on cooking workshop in a warm and welcoming environment. Students learn how to prepare traditional Cretan dishes while discovering the importance of olive oil, local mountain herbs, and fresh seasonal ingredients. Τhe menu will include: rooster in tomato sauce with traditional skioufichta pasta, or meatballs in red sauce as the main course, accompanied by dakos salad, fresh salad, kalitsounia with myzithra cheese and aromatic herbs, dessert, bread, water, and a local soft drink. During the experience, they are also introduced to the Mediterranean diet and learn how traditional recipes have been passed down through generations.
