Walking Tour in Florence

Buongiorno!
We have arrived in Florence!
The kids have been wonderful travelers and learners as we explored the historic and picturesque city of Siena. While we unfortunately didn’t get to see the actual Palio race due to rain, the students were still able to immerse themselves in the vibrant Palio festivities. They experienced the excitement, traditions, and culture that make Siena so unique. The city was alive with color, music, and celebrations, giving the students a true taste of this historic event.
The staff at the Palace Hotel Due Ponti was amazing, helpful and accommodating from start to finish!  Giusy, Arianna, Michelle and the front desk crew ensured that our stay was nothing but a wonderful experience. Antonio, the chef,  delighted us with a feast of delicious homemade traditional dishes every evening for dinner!  So hard to pick just one favourite meal! Max, the “maître d’ “, if you will, greeted us with a smile every day and made sure we had everything we needed during our meals.
Today, we left Siena at 2pm and made our way to Florence. The students are excited about the new adventures that await us in this beautiful city. From world-renowned art and architecture to delicious cuisine and rich history, Florence has so much to offer.
Everyone is in good spirits and eager to continue this amazing journey.
