Goodbye, Greece! Thanks for the Memories!

As our time in Greece comes to a close, we wanted to share a final update and reflect on what has truly been an unforgettable journey for our students.

After a wonderful stay in Santorini, our group traveled to Crete where we spent our final days in Heraklion. Crete provided the perfect setting to wrap up our program—rich in history, culture, and opportunities for exploration. One of the highlights was our visit to the beautiful Matala Beach, where students had the chance to relax, swim, and take in the unique landscape famous for its cliffside caves and crystal-clear waters. It was a memorable way to enjoy one of Crete’s most iconic destinations together.

From Heraklion, we boarded an overnight ferry back to Athens. While the experience of traveling together by ferry was an adventure in itself, it also gave students time to reflect, connect, and appreciate how much they have grown over the course of the trip.

Upon returning to Athens, students completed their major projects and final assessments. We were incredibly impressed with the level of thought, effort, and engagement they demonstrated. Their work reflected not only what they have learned academically, but also the personal growth, independence, and global awareness they have developed throughout the program.

Beyond the academics, what has stood out most is the way students have supported one another, stepped outside their comfort zones, and fully immersed themselves in each experience. From navigating new cities to building friendships and embracing different cultures, they have represented themselves and our community with pride.

As educators, it has been incredibly rewarding to watch these young people grow in confidence, resilience, and independence over the past few weeks. We know they will return home with countless stories to share, lifelong friendships, and memories that will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and for your continued support throughout this incredible journey. We hope they return to Toronto with a renewed sense of curiosity, confidence, and appreciation for the world around them.
