Syros Sailing Adventure

Wednesday was one of the most anticipated days of the trip as every single student joined us for our sailing excursion around the beautiful island of Syros! After breakfast, we made our way to the marina where our pirate ship style boat was waiting to take us out onto the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Spirits were high as we set sail, taking in the stunning coastal views and enjoying the warm sunshine.

Throughout the day, we stopped at several secluded bays where students had the opportunity to jump off the boat, swim in the unbelievably clear turquoise water and explore hidden coves. Some students grabbed their goggles to look for fish beneath the surface, while others floated in the calm water, soaked up the sun or relaxed on deck. A few even spotted jellyfish from a safe distance, adding a little extra excitement to the adventure!

The music was going all day as students connected to the speakers, creating the perfect summer atmosphere. There was plenty of laughter, dancing and countless photos taken as everyone enjoyed one of the highlights of the program together. Around lunchtime, we anchored in another beautiful bay where everyone enjoyed a delicious meal on board before continuing our journey to even more breathtaking swimming spots around the island.

After an unforgettable day on the water, we returned to the hotel for dinner where we celebrated the final birthday of the trip. We surprised our birthday girl with a gift and a special dessert before everyone sang Happy Birthday together. It was the perfect way to celebrate turning another year older surrounded by friends, incredible scenery and memories that will last a lifetime.
