Sun, Sand, and Study Breaks: Midweek in Mandelieu ☀️🌊

It’s hard to believe we’re already at the midpoint of our week in the sunny south of France! Time flies when your days are filled with sunshine, sea breezes, and just the right mix of studying and adventuring.

After class, the beach and pool have been the places to be. Students have been soaking up the sun, cooling off in the waves, and embracing true Riviera relaxation. Evenings have been full of good vibes—whether it’s a casual game of volleyball, a dip in the pool, or just hanging out at the villa enjoying the warm air and each other’s company.

And let’s not forget the culinary surprises! Turns out, a few of our students are low-key master chefs. The villa kitchen has seen some seriously impressive cooking this week—we’re talking everything from fresh salads to pasta dishes worthy of a menu.

Today was a perfect blend of work and play. Students were hard at work in class this morning, powering through their coursework as finals approach. Then, in the afternoon, we hopped on the bus and headed to the legendary city of Cannes!

Our time in Cannes kicked off with a walking tour through its charming streets. With its blend of glitz, history, and stunning sea views, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the French Riviera’s most famous cities. After exploring, students had a couple of hours of free time to grab gelato, browse boutiques, or just take it all in. We wrapped up the day with a delicious group dinner before boarding the bus back to Mandelieu.

Tomorrow, we’re off on a coastal hike—and the adventures continue!
