Such a Wonderful Stay in Paris!

On July 11, a group of 24 students and 2 staff travelled by coach bus to the Palace of Versailles with our guide Jacques. They had a fantastic time touring the palace and the palace grounds. Students came back very enthusiastic about how beautiful the gardens were and how extravagant the palace itself was. One student remarked how the rooms and decorations were so elaborate but the beds were so small in comparison. Were people smaller back then??

On our last day in Paris our students were troopers. We did a walking tour in the morning and then went to the top of the Eiffel Tower! Students walked and participated in many interesting stories about the city of Paris and it’s long history. When we first got to the Eiffel Tower the students were disappointed to hear that the top of the tower viewing area but….after waiting in the line for the elevator to the 2nd level we were excited to see that they had re-opened the elevator to the top. The students were so excited that they were going to see the amazing views from the top of the tower!

Students came back to the hotel and had a late afternoon class before getting ready for our last amazing dinner at Les Jardins Contini! We will have a train journey to Munich tomorrow.
