Program's End and Final Reflection

Dear GSA France 2024 Parents and Guardians,

I have said it throughout the program, both to the students and in communication with you, but this year’s group of students really blew me away with their genuine care and concern for one another, sense of humour, and appreciation for all things, big and small. They embraced any challenge, hiccup, or difficulty with smiles on their faces and maintained a keen desire to make the most out of each and every experience.

It was a very fast three and a half weeks, and, by now, I am sure you are beginning to hear their tales of adventure in more detail. I have to shout out our small but mighty staff team: Mme Beam, M. La Gamba, and Ms. Kendry, who ensured that students were getting the most out of their educational experience by delivering engaging programming, planning excursions during class time, and creating supportive class environments so that meaningful friendships could be formed. And, again, thank you to all of you for giving your child this experience.

It has been a distinct privilege to be the France program’s Program Manager this year. This has been one of the most special student groups I have ever been associated with.

I wish you and your child a fantastic August, and all the best for a great school year in the fall.
